The Screening Process
While maintaining a standard of excellence in the application to hire process, the following criteria are in place to recruit and provide the highest caliber of health care professionals in the industry today:
- Verification of one year of recent, full time experience in a specialty area within the last three years
- Verification of state licensure/education
- Personal interview
- Two recent clinical reference verifications
- Written knowledge validation appropriate to the specialty area
- Skills inventory to validate placement in the appropriate specialty area
- Core competency and age-specific competency validation
- Verification of CPR, ACLS/PALS when applicable
- Verification of other credentials, i.e., CCRN, NRP, TNCC, etc.
- Physical with negative PPD, valid test results/titers within 12 month period
- OIG and GSA search for any sanctions
- Criminal Background check
- 10 panel drug screening with negative results within the last 12 months
- Color vision testing
- Other requirements as requested by the Hospital
