• Verification of one-year full-time experience in a specialty area within the last three years
• Verification of state professional licensure
• Verification of education for certain clients
• Personal interview
• Two recent, verifiable clinical references
• Testing appropriate to the specialty area
• Skills inventory to validate placement in the appropriate specialty area
• Core competency and age-specific competency validation
• Verification of CPR certification, in addition ACLS/PALS when applicable
• Health form, negative PPD (provided on-site), valid test results within 12-months and titers
• OIG, OFAC, and GSA search for any sanctions
• Criminal Background and Sex Offender Registry check
• 10 panel drug screening with negative results within the last 12 months
• Color vision testing
• Other requirements as requested by the hospital
